Founded in 1998, Marco Q.Rossi & Associati is an international law firm. It is an innovative firm, specializing in international matters and consulting.

Context

Marco Rossi conducted his law studies in Genoa, before relocating to the USA. Here he founded "Marco Q. Rossi & Associati", an innovative law firm specializing in international matters.

Needs

Attorney Rossi needed a restyling of the firm's website, to communicate all the services offered in a more dynamic way than the previous site.

The client

Attorney Marco Rossi completed his law studies in Genoa, Italy. After graduating, he chose to move to the United States. There, in 1998, he founded "Marco Q. Rossi & Associati", an international law firm. It is an innovative firm, specializing in international matters and consultancy, in the management of complex legal programs and in strategic tax planning and consultancy on cross-border transactions. The studio also opened offices in New York, in 2005, and in 2016 also in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Lawyer Rossi turned to us with the need to communicate all of this through the right channels, opting for a restyling of the already existing website. We established with him the right strategy for creating a website for lawyers that mirrored the law firm and gave it a good presence on the web.

Steps to building a website for lawyers

The law firm found us at Ekeria, experts in website creation, through an online search. He wanted a digital marketing agency in Milan to have a made in Italy website design. The website, compared to the existing one, had to be more:

We at Ekeria also aim to create innovative websites, among the various website models we offer. This intention went perfectly with the nature of the law firm.

Briefing with the customer

The first step to take was to talk to the managers of the law firm to figure out which direction to take, starting from the already existing website.

We identified the customer's needs more precisely, also defining the required communication style, so as to be able to develop a proposal for the re-design of the site.

The goal on our part was to create a showcase website better than the one they had with which to present the study, customized according to the client's requests. The website would be in two versions, namely in English and Italian, to maintain the dual nature of the firm.

Site creation

Once the proposal was elaborated and reported, with the comments and changes made together with the client, we began to collect material for the practical construction of the website. This includes various elements:

the history of the law firm and its founder
the logo in its various formats
the texts to be inserted on the site, provided by the customer in both languages

With these elements, we at Ekeria have been able to define more precisely which sections to insert within the website. These sections were later listed in the menu. It consists of a few clear pages that list all the elements that could be of interest to potential customers.

The choice of platform for the lawyer website

The platform chosen to build the website was WordPress. It is the most used software to create websites and blogs. You can choose ready-made templates or create them from scratch. Furthermore, the addition of plugins extends the functions already present and therefore have more creative autonomy. It is also possible to modify the source code of the individual components, working with specialized front-end figures, so as to personalize the website as much as possible.

For the Marco Q. Rossi & Associati law firm we used one of our existing templates, to be adapted to the client's needs. Later, we decided to customize graphics. To do this, we went on to modify the source code of the chosen elements, so as to adapt them perfectly to what we had designed together with the customer.

Responsive website

A significant difference from the previous site was in creating a responsive website.

Having a responsive site means improving the browsing experience of users. Indeed, it consists in adapting the site to any device, regardless of the format.

The fact that it is responsive allows it to be displayed well both on a computer and, for example, on a phone or tablet, since all the elements are rearranged dynamically according to the format in which they are displayed. It is precisely this that makes the experience of users better, who view the site in the best possible way from any device.

Communication between sectors

Throughout the process, we kept the client updated on the progress made. This happened via video calls and e-mails, so that communications with any requests could be easily retrieved.

Through this constant updating, we have provided the customer with a final product that adapts as much as possible to his requests.
