Parapharmacy San Felice is based in San Felice, Segrate, Milan. It was inaugurated in June 2016 by Dr. Paola Pantuso and her daughter, Dr. Matilde Balestra.

Case History

Since 2016, Parafarmacia San Felice has been offering a wide range of products to meet the needs of its customers. Furthermore, it offers a series of services thanks to the collaboration with professionals in the sector.

Needs

The client had an online presence solely on Instagram and Facebook. They needed to create a website to offer an online catalog of their products and attract more people.

Solutions

We first created a customized logo for the Parapharmacy, then we moved on to building a website that adapted to their communication. Finally, we drew up an editorial plan for the contents and we took care of the restyling of the social networks.

Results

The identity of the online parapharmacy has been strengthened, also creating the site. This has brought back a good number of visits and has also increased traffic on the two social pages.

The client's goal: to create an online identity via a pharmacy website

When Parapharmacy San Felice turned to Ekeria, it was only present on social media, specifically on Instagram and Facebook, which it used to promote its products and services.

The reason that prompted them to contact us was the desire to open a pharmacy website, to reach a larger pool of users and thus create its own online identity.

The path taken for Parapharmacy San Felice

After understanding the customer's needs, we proceeded to define the objectives to be achieved. In addition to developing an online identity, the aim was to build a personalized and coherent brand identity, to make Parapharmacy San Felice unique and easily recognizable in the eyes of users.

The main steps of the strategy we implemented were the following:

  • Logo creation
  • Creation of the website, with definition of layout, colors, fonts, and graphics 
  • Drafting of an editorial plan and restyling of the social pages

Logo creation

The first thing we worked on was the logo. In fact, they did not have a personalized logo, but only the generic one.

To design the logo, we first thought about what the Parapharmacy offers: natural products for personal care and well-being. Consequently, we designed a logo that included the cross, symbolic of the pharmaceutical sector, and a leaf, to recall the concept of nature and health.

The decision to keep the cross was dictated by the desire to make the Parapharmacy immediately recognizable to users.

As far as colors are concerned, we have decided to use blue, a color strongly linked to the idea of health, and green, which recalls nature and well-being.

The creation of the logo is of fundamental importance for the development of a new corporate image.

In fact, it represents one of the first elements that users see, for this reason it must be easily recognizable and memorable.

Before designing the logo, we also looked at those of the competitors, to understand the main trends in terms of graphics and colors.

Website creation

The website was created with the aim of showing the promotions, products, and services available in the store online.

The creation of the site represented an important novelty for the Parapharmacy, which until then only owned the physical store. Pairing a digital store with a physical store is an important step towards digitization.

This step allows you to always have your product catalog updated and to make it accessible to all users and customers who can view the proposed offer, viewing the features and prices.

The site has been divided into several sections:

  • News
  • Products
  • Catalogues
  • Services
  • Contacts

During the construction of the website, more than 800 products were inserted, with images, descriptions, and prices of numerous brands.

The site also presents the history of the Parapharmacy, catalogs and a section dedicated to contacts. In addition, 8 products are published every month in the "News" section with graphics consistent with the time of year.

The site is constantly updated through the inclusion of new products and services.

In addition to this, the three covers in the "Home" section are updated every month. The covers are designed to promote three new products of the month.

Our company is committed to building an elegant, simple, and distinctive site, based on the customer's specifications. The website coordinates with the offline image of the San Felice Parapharmacy, characterized by quality and professionalism.

 

Restyling of social profiles: Facebook and Instagram

Social media is a particularly useful tool for sponsoring your products and services. For this reason, the aesthetic aspect of existing social profiles has been improved by creating ad hoc posts with a defined and recognizable layout. In fact, the social posts incorporate the same colors as the website and logo. Furthermore, each post, in the upper left corner, presents the Parapharmacy San Felice logo in a reduced size.

The posts are intended to advertise the services and products offered, but also to provide information on health-related issues. The posts are created taking into consideration the potential target and the topics that may be of interest to them.  The copy is generally short, clear, and easy to understand, as are the graphics. Furthermore, as regards the graphics, it was decided to create an alternation of green-white colors, to make the Instagram feed tidy, elegant, and consistent.

An editorial plan has been defined for the publication of the posts. The posts are shared on social profiles twice a week, Wednesday, and Friday, both on Instagram and on Facebook, always at the same time.

Facebook and Instagram present the logo as a profile picture. As for the Facebook cover, it is constantly updated based on the time of year.

If there are theme days organized by the Parapharmacy, stories are also published on the two social channels.

Having the opportunity to communicate your promotions, products, and services available immediately represents an added value. Furthermore, managing this type of communication channel guarantees the possibility of generating leads while simultaneously building a strong brand reputation.

The result: Creation of online identity

Thanks to our strategy, Parapharmacy San Felice has managed to achieve its objectives. The opening of the pharmacy website has allowed the Parapharmacy to develop its online identity. Furthermore, the restyling of social profiles has increased the number of followers and interactions. In fact, from the monthly reports provided by our agency, it was possible to observe an increase in traffic on Facebook and Instagram. Furthermore, the site also recorded a high number of visits.
