ISS is a company that deals with industrial automation. It produces reliable and accessible 3D vision-based robot guidance systems.
The customer needed to restyle the website to be able to communicate their online services more effectively. The site needed to position itself better in search results and be easier for the user to navigate.
We chose WordPress as the platform to work on, so that it could also be easily used by the customer. We made the site responsive and integrated HubSpot services for better customer relationship management.
ISS has improved its online positioning, thanks to the restyling and SEO work. Visits have increased, as have contact requests. ISS operators have full control over the site.
The history of the company begins in 2010, when the virtual tray was hypothesized for the first time. The goal that ISS had set itself was to eliminate the physical tray on which the objects that the robots were supposed to grab were precisely placed, and to equip the latter with the ability to pick them up directly from the container in which they were arranged in a disorderly way.
Over the years ISS has worked to realize the initial idea and in 2015 it released the first version of its system on the market. Thanks to continuous research, in 2018 the company produced a second version, easier to use and faster.

Website restyling: what is it about?
By "website restyling" we don't just mean a graphic makeover. Contrary to popular belief, the restyling work is much more complex as it includes relevant aspects such as usability, positioning and user experience.
The brand and the user must be at the center of the intervention as the site must reflect the objectives and the corporate image, and at the same time guarantee an excellent browsing experience for visitors.
The customer's needs
Their intent was to implement online communication, making it more effective. Furthermore, the company wanted to improve its positioning on the web to obtain greater visibility in search results, optimize and simplify the user's browsing experience, making the site responsive.
Besides that, ISS also wanted to modernize their graphics and align with current trends.
The path for ISS
To carry out the restyling of the website, an analysis was first conducted to study the websites of ISS's competitors. Observing how competitors act is essential to understanding current trends, communication and operational methods.
The restyling of the website took place using WordPress, a powerful software that allows the creation and distribution of websites. It also allows you to manage and update sites dynamically.
It was decided to opt for WordPress as it represents an easy-to-use platform even for the customers themselves. In fact, through WordPress, ISS operators can modify their website to their liking, adding or removing products, publishing articles on the company blog and inserting or removing multimedia content.
In this way, the customer was guaranteed continuous monitoring of their website.
The restyling also made it possible to make the site responsive, i.e., capable of automatically adapting its graphics to the type of device from which it is visited, whether it be a tablet, computer or smartphone.
Nowadays it is extremely important to have a website with this feature, especially if one considers the enormous use that is made of one's mobile phones daily. A responsive site ensures a better browsing experience for users, regardless of the device they use.
The ISS website has been integrated with the services offered by HubSpot, an all-in-one marketing automation software. Ekeria is an official partner of HubSpot and offers assistance to fully exploit the potential offered by this platform.
The ISS website has also been restructured from a graphic point of view, following the instructions provided. Our client wanted a more modern site graphically, with images and video demonstrations of the products.
A dedicated section has been created for each product, with information, description, image and the possibility of downloading the brochure. Furthermore, the sections of the menu have been reordered, and in general the site has been modified in line with current trends.
Work in progress
During one of the meetings, the ISS operators expressed their desire to make the site understandable to foreign users as well. The goal is to increase visibility and be known abroad as well. For this reason, we are working to make the site multilingual.
The results of our website restyling service
The client's initial objectives have been achieved. The ISS website has improved its online positioning, thanks also to the work done from an SEO point of view. Visits to the site have increased, as have requests for contact and the average time spent there. This last data demonstrates that the site is now easily navigable for users.
