Case History
The COR is made up of a team of specialists who use modern equipment, to best perform the services offered. It is based in Viano, Emilia Romagna.
Needs
The center needed to create an online presence that would allow it to be found by customers and show them all the treatments avaliabe, in a clear and identifying way.
Solutions
We created a logo and developed various graphic proposal for the website for the customer to choose from. We have paid close attention to maintaining consistency between all elements.
Risults
The website created is a perfect showcase for the dental center. It displays the identity of the centre, the services offered, the work team and all the contacts, in a clear and coherent way.
The construction of website graphics customized
The customer's need was to have an online presence for the dental center, which displayed the servicesand clearly showed the contacts. It was necessary that the graphics of the website represent the center as much as possible.
The choice of images and graphics was essential in deciding how to best represent the human face of the center. The entire layout of the site has a central role in representing the company to which it refers.
We at Ekeria have a lot of experience in customizing websites, also in the medical field. The customer has decided to rely on us for a tailor-made package.
The first step: selecting the template
We decided to build the website on WordPress. It is a very intuitive and pre-set platform when it comes to building sites, which however also allows a lot of freedom in customization. Indeed, it allows you to add many elements through plugins, but not only. You can modify the structure of the elements by working on the source code.
WordPress provides many ready-made templates, i.e. already existing templates made up of various graphic and text elements which you then have to replace with the desired content. For COR, we at Ekeria have chosen to create a template from scratch, made to measure.
Creation of website graphics
Before working on WordPress, we decided to create different graphic proposals for the client to choose from. To do this we used Illustrator, a software from the Adobe package that allows you to design graphics of any kind. For example, graphics for publishing, journalism, websites, but also of logos, apps, icons and much more.
We defined with the client the main guidelines to follow, to have a basis from which to start to create the graphic proposals. We started by deciding to immediately insert a call toaction at the top of each page. On the home page, this call to action is followed immediately by all the main contacts of the center. In this way, the user who visits the site has all the channels of clear communication.
Thanks to Illustrator we designed each page, inserting temporary images and copy, to make the client understand the main arrangement of the elements. We have focused a lot on different proposals for the first section of the home page.
Home page design
As for the home page, we have created three main proposals, with some variations for each. In each proposal we have used the main colors of the company, seeking a clean and linear style, to convey the idea of professionalism and elegance.
Once the proposals were sent, the customer chose the one they preferred the most, communicating to us small corrections to be made. The communication with the customer was continuous so that they were always informed about any update.
Photo shooting for the coherence of the website graphics
To ensure that the various parts of the site were consistent with each other, we also worked on the images as well as the graphics. We agreed with the customer to conduct an on-site photo shoot with which to create elegant photos. In this way, the pages differ, while maintaining a common thread representative of the center.
Results
We have created a website that represents the Reggiano Dental Center, supporting the ideas and requests of the customer. The customized website allows the center to display itself to the customers through:
